Aspen Pillow Top Mattress

Traditional Mattresses or what is referred to as a classic innerspring mattress is made of longer coils that are coiled up to offer great support some with smaller gauge coils and some are larger gauge coils (the coil gauge does matter) there have been many great innovations over the years from the original bonnel (hourglass shaped) coil that is still to this day being used. Typically, the more steel and more rotations a coil has the better and more supportive it will be. Classic Innerspring mattresses are compromised of more coil than foam unless a pillowtop is added to the top of the mattress. The support is generally a firmer feeling support and offers less conformability, unlike the new hybrids on the market. Which offer 1/2 coil and 1/2 foam for better pressure relief.
